I am about to start making girls hair bows along with my candles and I still dont have an idea of places to sell. Anyone know of any craft fairs/school carnivals or somewhere with booths or any other places that might be a hit to sell at? Ive done a few parties and those went well but I need other ideas.

What can I do next?

Sometimes some Salons might take on some of your products to sell.

will tell you about lots of places in the area. Basically, high schools and churches are a good place to start, as they have a lot of shows for the holiday season. Haltom, Central, Keller, Fossil Ridge... are some I have been too that were pretty good. Keller, Southlake and Grapevine are supposed to be the best.

If you act quickly, there are a few more dates available this year at the open air market in Grapevine on Main Street that might be something you'd like.

The open-air Market includes handmade jewelry, fine art, home decor, antiques, pet accessories and more. It's located between the 100 and 300 blocks of Main Street at Liberty Park and Week's Alley (located between the Palace Theatre and City Hall). The Grapevine Market operates 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM every Thursday and Saturday from April 7 to October 27. The cost is $10 per 8' x 8' space with a maximum of 2 spaces per day. There are 6 dates left this season: October 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 & 27. Here is a link to learn more about it and to find out how to become a vendor: http://www.grapevinetexasusa.com/FestivalsAndEvents/Grape...

If you're interested, you'll probably want to click on the link to look at the actual application. There's a lot of extra information about the market and it's requirements on the application that is not shown on the website.

Good luck with your business! I hope this info helps a little. :-)

You can sell them in my at Home Day Care. I mostly have boys at this time only boys but when I get some girls I will let you know. Years ago I worked at a Hotel it Beauty Shop and I had a bunch I sold in the salon. Lots of Salons would love to have them espeically if they specialize in children's hair. Also where they have children's ( girl) clothes. They may have to get corporated approval which is better in salons. Good Luck. G. W ###-###-####

There is a Craft fair at Brewer High school either November 3rd or 4th. If you send me an email, I can forward on the email I received from the coordinator. I am a Mary Kay Consultant and am plannning on participating. I believe it is a $50 fee.
