We go to Naperville Dental Specialists in downtown Naperville. They are a family dentist so they see all ages and also have an orthodontist office next door that they are affiliated with. We've been very happy with them.

Small Smiles. My four year old would not get his teeth cleaned...we tried three times elsewhere over the course of a year. We went to Small Smiles and he came out with clean teeth and couldn't stop talking about how fun it all was! They have a waiting list typically...but it is really worth it!

I take my son to Dr. Kurt Wagner in Naperville (above the Barnes & Noble bookstore downtown). It's specifically for children....he and his staff do an excellent job.

My husband and I go to Dr. Dinesh Patel at 405 N. Eola Rd., Aurora. He's so nice and very flexible with scheduling.

Also, one place I DO NOT recommend is Anew Dental on South 59 in Plainfield. We went when we first moved here trying to find a dentist and were not impressed. My husband and I both went on separate visits and had to wait for about an hour each time. We just don't have that kind of time when other dentists get you in much more quickly. When I took my completed paperwork back to the receptionist, she was busy chatting with someone about a personal conversation and I stood there for two min. until SHE was ready. They just were not friendly and didn't try to develop a positive rapport in my opinion. My husband even went back a second time and after that we found another dentist.

We go to Young Dental in Aurora on prairie ave. She is spectacular. We started with her when she had jsut got out of dental school. her dad owned the practice then. he has since died but she has a magic way with children and adults alike. She met me once on a sunday afternoon at the office to fix a crown that had come out. And stopped by our house when our sons face swelled up (he had bitten the inside of his mouth). she is defintly a keeper. the office number is ###-###-####. tell them sherry spinelli gave you the number. we love her a lot.

I am a Dentist and local resident of Plainfield and see many children in my practice. One of our patients helped me find this blog and I would like to offer my services to you and your family. My wife and I are both dentists that have a conservative philosophy and are highly geared to see kids. We have always respected our patient’s time and always see them at their appointment time. We have given lectures to local schools and are very easy to talk to. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Good Luck. Dr. P. www.smilecare-dental.com

We go to Grove Dental in Bolingbrook (just west of 53 on Boughton). My kids love their dentist (they go 4 times per year and started at 18 months) and I go to the grownup side while they are being seen. If they happen to get done before me, their staff will keep them occupied until my appointment is done. They love Dr. Chug so much that they are forever asking me when they get to go back.
