My daughter is having a "Penguins of Madagascar" themed party. I have a few recipes that are a trail mix type that include goldfish crackers. I need recepies that have a "fish theme" to them or that just have a cute "fishy" name to them. We are calling the trail mix with the goldfish crackers---penguin food... for example.

What can I do next?

Kids love fruit kabobs and you can make them on your own. Also blue jello (Blueberry Jello)in little clear plastic cups is a hi,t Just when the jello starts to set up in the individual cups add some gummy fish you can often by in bulk at the grocery store, they are also called Swedish fish. Just only 1-2 per cup and push then in with a tooth pick. It looks like fish swimming in the ocean, Walmart carries Austin brand I think it is gold fish crackers that are shaped like whales too for something else. Have fun

Make boiled egg penguines. Boil the egg, shell it, then use large olive halves as the wings. Use one olive for head, carrot for feet and beak. serve them on ice sheets (flattened marshmallows or vanilla bark candy?) surrounding a blue pond (blue jello)

Try Sara Lee Deli Kids Sushi. It's the cutest take on a simple ham and cheese sandwich. http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=110309589796

Also check out the comments section. Looks like Amy L. has some awesome ideas from her daughter's Mermaid party.

Maybe you could serve fish sticks? And snow cones might be fun.

How about little Jello aquarium cups for the kids (and even the adults)? They do take a little time to make - http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,189,155173-229200,00.html has some instructions (or you could just google "jello aquarium" for other recipes).

Good luck!

Serve fish sticks and call them Penguin Power Sticks. Serve Penguin Punch--grape juice or grape soda with a squirt of whipped cream from a can. Make your daughter's favorite sandwiches and cut them with fish shaped cookie cutters. Have a great party!
