Hi, my name is E. and my family and I are moving to the Thousand Oaks area in January. I am pregnant and am due at the end of March. I don't know anyone in the area and thought who better to ask than all you mommy's about this. I need a referral to a good doctor, I will need a c-section (I had one three years ago when I had my twins) at the end of March. Also, does anyone have a recommendation as far as a hospital is concerned? I had a great experience in Scottsdale, AZ when I gave birth and hope to have another good one this time around. Any advice would be appreciated!

I'm not sure about up in TO, but I used Dr. Belzer at Pleasant Valley in Camarillo. I ended up having to have an emergency C-section, and he was amazing. The staff was also very friendly and really went out of their way to keep me comfortable the whole time. It was kind of like staying in a hotel with a very small room:)

I've had two c-sections at Los Robles and had really good hospital/nurse experiences. My OB is good but I anticipate that he will be retiring any minute.

Good luck!

I have lived in this area over 25 years, it the best place to raise a family!

Dr. Van Geem or Dr. Poliakin for OB/GYN

For a pediatrician, Dr. Hirsch is the best around. He is with Los Robles Pediatric Medical Group.
