Nanny or Day Care Needed for ONE Day per Week (Tuesdays)

I've called the reputable day cares in my area that I know of and no one seems to be able to offer one day per week service (there's a two day minimum). It is unusual, but I work only one day.

Any one know of a babysitter in need of work for one day or a day care in the Western Suburbs that offers one day a week care?

Thanks!

What can I do next?

Hi R. i was just wondering what hours are you requesting?

I'd try sittercity.com. I posted an ad on the site on Monday (I was looking for an occaisonal weekend sitter) and I've been amazed at the number of responses I've received! There are a lot of babysitters out there looking to pick up extra hours.

I only work 2 days/week so I understand! After our wonderful nanny moved out of state we placed our son at the Bright Horizons Day care center in Oak Brook. I am not sure which Western suburb you are in though. We love it and my son has been very happy there. I really like that they are flexible; you can pick up another day here or there. It works out really well for me. Good luck. Have you tried sittercity.com?

I do offer part time in my home childcare.
If you would like more info you can e-mail me back.

I hate the babysitter crisis! Anyway, I used to use Lena D., she was in the process of becoming a licensed home day care. She was a teacher decided to stay at home with kids. She is very nice, and did a great job with my little ones. Due to schedule changes and job changes, it was very difficult to get them to Naperville/Bolingbrook area everyday. Anyway, her number is ###-###-####.

Hope it works out.
