My husband just recently accepted a job in Naperville and so we will be moving to Naperville in the Spring. I have a 4-year old boy and a 7-month old girl who will need to attend daycare/ kindergarten. They are currently at Kindercare ad we love it. So, I am nervous about switching schools. Can anyone recommend:

1) A great daycare facility in Naperville?
2) A great kindergarten in Naperville?
3) Tell me what the best school district is and why?
4) My son is very advanced for his age. Can anyone recommend a school that can provide resources for his advanced capabilities?

I would also be interested in hearing about any good neighborhoods, Internists, OB/GYNE, Endocrinologists and Pediatrician's?

Thanks to all, for your help!
N.

Hi N.,

I belong to a couple of "mom groups" in the Naperville area. They are made up of moms new to the area and moms that have lived there for a while. You can go to Meetup.com and search for them. (The are called New to Naperville Mom Meetup...there are a couple of different ones) Being new to the area myself the groups have been awesome with advice and we are meeting so many people with kiddos and really enjoying the playgroups and different outings we attend! It's great! I was so happy when I found this website.
Hope this helps a little!

HI!

We live in the Indian Hill subdivision in North Naperville and we LOVE it! There are tons of kids! It is near the corners of Washington and Diehl roads and is about 2 minutes from Kids kampus (which is one of the daycares the other mom recommended) We are in district 203 and so far are very pleased. Our school is large and kind of crowded but they have done an excellent job of making every child feel special. They do have programs for advanced children and continue to test them throughout the year to make sure they are in the program best suited for their needs.

I don't have too much experience with the daycares in Naperville but we did attend the Children's world (which is now kindercare) near Naperville North highschool and it was horrible! Our child was only their for 2 weeks.

Good Luck!

I don't really care much for Kindercare, but there is one in Naperville, I have my 18 month old son at Adventures in Learning, in Aurora, but he will be moving to the one near the Rt. 59 train station when there is an opening. I take the train to work and that would be more convienent for me, plus we live right down the street. We really like this daycare, we had to do an emergency move, he was at All About Caring in Warrenville (do not go there!)
His pediatrician is a group called Dupage Medical Group General Pediatrics, 1020 E. Ogden Ave., Suite 201 Naperville, IL 60563
I can always get an apointment. The staff is nice.
Good luck with the move, if you need anymore information please e-mail. I will help you all I can.
