Hi Moms-

I am new to Mamasource in this area and am desperately searching for some feedback on good school districts in and around the Naperville area. I have a 4 1/2 year old son who will be starting school in the fall and would like a school district that can offer additional programs to him for being academcially advanced. We are currently considering the following areas:

*Montgomery
*Sugar Grove
*Plainfield
*Oswego

Any and all advice is appreciated. Also, if you could recommend a great Pediatrician, I would be ever so grateful.

Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
N.

We have been seeing Dr. Judith Froehlich - she's on the north end of town - but we love her and she's worth the 15 minute trip.

We live in 204 (near 95th and Naper/Plainfield) and CLOW is the grammar school we live in - Nequa Valley High School is often featured when they talk about award winning school districts - and you can't go wrong anywhere in 204.

Good luck!!!

Hi N.!

Congrats on the upcoming move....I assure you that you are moving to a GREAT area. My husband has been in education for over 9 years now. He taught for 8 and is now currently an administrator. We have two young girls---2 and 9 months.......we moved into a new home in Oswego. He thinks highly of the school district (it was definitely a factor when choosing to move to Oswego). I also know that District 204--Indian Prairie School District (Aurora/Naperville) is a good district as well. You have to look, some of the Montgomery homes feed into Oswego, and the other half feed into another school district. I don't know about Kaneland school district, but I have heard wonderful things about Oswego.

We love our pediatrician, but even more so...I LOVE his nurse who is always so welcoming and helpful ANYTIME I call. His name is: Dr. Skurka and is located in Oswego through Dreyer Medical. You can google him, his office number is: ###-###-####.

Good luck!
J.

All school district in Naperville are great. We're in 204 and my oldest son will start there next fall. We're in South Naperville (95th and Naper/Plainfield Rd).

Our pediatrician is Scott Murphy - he's with DupAge Medical Group. He's wonderful. he's affiliated with Good Sam and CDH - maybe eevn Edwards. He has offices in Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Wheaton and Bloomingdale.
