Hi! Can you tell me of a Mothers Day Out(church only) that is accepting 2 years olds right now and is located in Overland Park? I am having a hard time finding any openings due to either no availability or he is not old enough. I have called many but any suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, does anyone know a resource on the internet/publication with a list of Mother Day Outs in the KC area?

It is not in Overland Park but in Olathe. It is Westside Church of the Nazarene on Sante Fe. They have a Kids Day Out program from Tues-Thurs. I can't say enough about them. I guarantee if you meet with the director and or the teachers you won't mind the commute. The facility is extremely clean and they do GREAT crafts with the children. I cannot say enough about them.
hi there. I don't know of one that accepts 2 year olds but i do know that the Parents As Teachers offices usually have a comprehensive listing of such places they can either mail or fax you. Good luck finding something! :)

Hi! My 22 month old attends Parents Day Out at Overland Park Christian Church near 75th & Metcalf. Her older sister does, as well, and we love the school! The director asked me if my youngest daughter would like to be on the standby list to be called in case of cancellations a few weeks back. Within two weeks she was enrolled as a regular in the Tuesday class. I have no idea of the availability, but it is worth a try since we got in quickly. They do PDO on Monday, Tuesday and Friday (I think) from 9:30AM to 2:30PM. The number is ###-###-#### ext 31 and the director's name is Flo.

Candy is right! Parents as Teachers hosted a wonderful 'preschool fair' about 2 weeks ago. They had a list of participating preschools if that helps. I will tell you some that are located by me to check out. Aldersgate Methodist 913--###-###-####(borders on OP/Olathe) also Beautiful Savior Preschool/MMO in Olathe ###-###-####.
