Mom Moving to Windermere.....

I am moving with my husband to Windermere and I am looking for a pediatrician for my 6 month old. Right now my son goes to a wonderful pediatrician that is very helpful and actually gives out his email address to his patients in case they have non-urgent questions. He responds usually at the end of the day and it prevents numerous phone calls to the office. Can anyone suggest a great pediatrician in the area or nearby? Also, looking for an OB-GYN! Thanks ladies!

So What Happened?

I made an appointment with Physician Associates and saw Dr. Peppy. He was wonderful. He is upbeat, very compassionate, good listener and made me feel very comfortable. Thanks to everyone for recommending Dr. Peppy.

I did make an appt at Pediatric Associates with Dr. Britton and wasn't impressed. The wait was horrible (over 45 minutes) and the facilities were awful. I am still looking for a pediatrician for my son's 12 month appt because I will not go back to Dr. Britton.

I live by these Doctors. I have three children which all of them go to Dr.Colin Condron. He is at 414 N. Mills Ave. ###-###-#### If he is booked then there are two others in the same office I also recommend. Marc Didea and Greg Coffman. Just a note. I also went here as a child, and trust them with my life. Good Luck

I know it's been a while since you posted, but I'll second Windermere Pediatrics!! We live in Kissimmee and they're easily a 30 minute drive for us but OH SO WORTH IT.

I love the evening and Saturday morning availability! Sam has seen every doctor in there, plus both the NPs! His regular pedi is Dr. Cardona and the man is so gentle and caring. He'll swap stories with you too. I like that he's a "younger" doctor and he has young children. Dr. Cardona is all about preventative measures and has helped us get early intervention services.

Every single person in the practice is genuinely interested in the health and well-being of your child.

My 10 month old daughter goes to Windermere Pediatrics in Metro West which came highly recommended from friends. They are a larger practice but do spend as much time as you need when you are there, have a seperate wellness waiting room/sick waiting room which is nice, and are open on Saturdays for emergencys. I was seeing Dr. Serafin who I highly recommend but she just recently had a baby so I'm unsure when she will be back, so now I see Dr. Watson, who I also seem really happy with. The number to Windermere Pediatrics is ###-###-####. When you call, you can ask them for a tour and they are very accomodating. As far as an OBGYN - I absolutely love Dr. Peppy with Physician's Associates next to Sand Lake Hospital. Love him, love him, love him!! His number is ###-###-####. Best of luck with your move and finding new doctors:)!
