Mac Computer

We are considering purchasing a new mac computer, but now have a PC. Does anyone have any complaints about the mac?

What can I do next?

Buy the mac.... it can run both mac and pc operating systems. I was a web developer who swore by my pc. Not now! My next will be a mac. That is what my dh develops on now.

We love our MACS and have never had a problem with viruses, unlike the PC's.

Mac's are more user friendly and easier to learn...

We are mac-only users now. My husband has worked in the computer industry for over 20 years now and switched over about 9 years ago. He tried to convince me over and over to start using a mac and I was against it for months because, well, it just looked so different. I did finally switch and would never go back. They are sooooo much easier to use and they don't crash ever, like pc's do. This laptop I've used for about 7 years now has taken quite a beating, as it sits on a table in the living room and has been dropped and all. The case is broken, but it runs great. I have no complaints whatsoever and would urge anyone to go mac. Everything they say in the commercials is true (if you haven't seen them, go to apple.com and look for the commercials).

NOOOO complaints from my family! My DH does graphics and video production for a living and he, of course, only uses Macs ... I can't tell you just how many people he's converted over to using Macs!!! (Plus, a few churches).

Mac .. all the way!! :-D

LOVE MACS! We have two, a desktop and a laptop. Awesome customer support too. Have never regretted either purchase.

We each have a Dell laptop at home right now and love them. My husband did use a Mac for quite sometime and was very happy with it as well.

I grew up with Apples, and have used PCs at work. Both have their perks, but the Apple is known for it's user-friendly applications and virus-safe programs, not to mention they look cool. One warning, though...if you are used to PC, make sure you allow yourself time to learn how to use your Apple/Mac, as they are quite different, and can be confusing. Different isn't bad, but just different.

That said, if you do go with a Mac, my father has his own Mac consulting business and can help you to answer questions or help you get set up. If you want more information, you could probably get it on his website... www.teachmemac.com.
