I'm an insurance agent in AZ. Insurance rates get more expensive the older you get. So if you are going to switch, the premiums may be higher, simply because you are older. It also depends on if you are a smoker, your height/weight and health issues and even where you live. Any of the large, well known companies are great...MetLife, Mass Mutual, Travelers, etc. Also, instead of doing this on your own, google "independent insurance agent" in your city and they can help with the details. Good luck!

A lot depends on your age, health, and smoking habits, also if its term live or whole life I am assuming you have term, $60 is not much for whole life insurance. We have Travelers and my policy for $200 is about $32 a month, its a 20 yr term policy with no rate increases. My husband's is over $70 a month due to smoking and high blood pressure. You should shop around to find the best coverage with a good company and good price. Good luck.

I used to work for western and southern, they have pretty good rates, they also have return of premium term, which is a little more expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion.

Stick with Level Term and invest the difference that you get out of. Look at Primerica Life - highly rated company with level term. Of course it also depends on the health, family history etc. Stay away from using Life insurance as investment vehicle. Do you have investment with your health, auto or Home insurance - why life!

You might want to check with Minnesota Life.

We have great policies with them, both term and a cash-value whole life policy (which I know isn't the best investment, but it is just 1 part of our portfolio).
