Hi moms,
I am looking for a loft or bunk bed for my 3 1/2 year old. I want to have one that will last a while and is sturdy. Maybe even with a slide... I have seen a lot on the internet, but would like to see it in a store before I buy it. Any idea which furniture store would have something like that ?

Hi K.-

I went to Rooms to go for kids. I wanted to get a bunk bed for my 2 1/2 yr old son that would last a while also and that we would have room for sleep overs when he got big enough. we bought the bunk bed that has a twin on top and a full on the bottom so this way it gives him more room to move around while he is sleeping. We put a bed rail at the bottom to make sure he didn't fall out of the bed while he slept. I also like the fact that the top bunk has high rails on the side of the bed in case someone sleeps up there. Of course we haven't installed the ladder yet since my active son likes to climb on everything this will come later on. It is very sturdy and we can also take the beds apart later on if we like. They had a pretty nice selection and we are very pleased with the bed we got. Their prices were pretty reasonable.

Hi K.,

Check out JcPenneys on-line, they have some wonderful "wood" furniture that is inexpensive. If you see anything you like, you can then go view it at the Frisco location.

You can also have the furniture sent to the store closest to you to save on shipping.

Best of Luck!

We got our son's bunk bed at The Wooden Swing Company. They have a store in Frisco by Stonebriar but they have a better display off off the Tollway just before 635. They are a family owned business and don't charge for delivery.
