We just moved and I am in need of some cute home decor. Does anyone know of anywhere that has stuff for really low prices. I don't want to spend a fortune decorating my home. I am looking for wall art/ posters as well.

What can I do next?

OLD TIME POTTERY!!! Off of 40 Hwy and Noland Rd.

Or you could try Cargo Largo off of 35th St and Noland Rd. Their merchandise changes DAILY, so if you don't find what you're looking for the first time be sure to check back. Their website is www.cargolargo.com if you wanna see how they get their stuff and why it's so cheap.

Have fun decorating!

Hi Julie, I get alot of my home decor at Old Time Pottery-They have alot of art work and home stuff for cheap. Also I have experimented doing artwork myself, and to my surprise it has turned out looking good. I bought a blank canvas and some craft paints and just played around until I liked what I saw. Another thing is to take alot of different shapes and sized picture frames and spray paint them and arrange them on your wall in a cluster. It's a easy, cheap wall filler and it looks pretty modern. Hope that helps a little. Melissa

I'd check out Hobby Lobby or some place "Crafty" for the posters, they have a large selection. For the rest of the stuff I'd check out Wal-Mart or Target..they seem to have a pretty good seletion of stuff.

Hi Julia
I would also check Kohls sometimes they have awesome sales on their framed artwork. If you can catch a sale where things are 50% off that would be good.
Also Gordmans sometimes has good stuff for reasonable prices.

Kohls is located at 39th & 291/ I-70 area, Gordmans is located on 40 HWY. Pass noland road/40 HWY intersection and keep going west, you will see it on your right as you come to the next stop light. Hopefully you find something. W.

I'm not sure what area you live in, but there is a place that I like to go in Independence that has really cheap stuff. They have almost anything you can imagine. It's called Old Time Pottery. It's at 40 Hwy. and Noland Rd. It's easy to get to off of I-70. They have everything from linens to fake plants to dishes to wall decor. You name it, they've probably got it. If it's not too far for you, I would say it's definitely worth checking out.
