Looking for Pediatrician & Ob/Gyn Who Accepts BCBS HMO in Chicago

I need a pediatrician and a Ob/Gyn who accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO in Chicago. I live in Wicker Park, so it would be nice to not travel too far. Sometimes I have to use public transit to get to the doctor. Thank you for your help!

What can I do next?

Your insurance carrier will have a list online of participating providers. You should be able to search by zip code to the find the closest one. Once you have narrowed down your list you can look up MD reviews online.

try Association for women's healthcare on mich ave. you can take the El to get there. for peds, try Streeterville Pediatrics...right by the northwestern hospital so tons of buses and Els.

I'm not sure if they take bcbs but I know they take almost every insurance and were I went which is Illinois Masonic ob clinic. They have a great staff and my hospital stay was great. My daughter had to go to the nicu for a week and the staff were unbelievable! I would highly recommend them. I also use hearthland health pediatrics office which is in the same building as the ob office and really like them also. Btw...my daughter is 7 weeks and we live in Roscoe Village...good luck.

Town and Country Pediatrics.
Clyborn/Halsted.
It's where we go! 16 pretty awesome docs there to choose from! 1 block from the Red Line at North/Clyborn.

You might want to try one of the doctor's at Resurrection Health Care (http://www.reshealth.org/) since St. Mary & Elizabeth are right there.

When I switched over to HMO from PPO, my doctors luckily accepted both. I don't have a peditrician for my son, I just take him to our family doctor.
