Looking for Mommy Group in the Cleveland Area

Mops of Divinity in Parma meets Every 4th Tuesday but is off for summer. We are still doing things in the summer though. You can look on the MOPS website and email Michelle the leader of that group. A real nice group. I went there this past year. Hope this helps. C. I also belong to 5 other groups of the like. You can email me if interested.

Most cities have an Early Childhood PTA. This organization has playgroups that you can join and monthly group events. Usually the only cost is a yearly fee for their newsletter. I am in Fairview Park's Early Childhood PTA and it is $20 per year.

My name is S.. I'm also a new mom and new to the area (I have a 7 month old son named Shaan and moved here from Minnesota last year...my husband is from here). I've also been trying to find other moms to get together with...to get together few times during the week...lunch/shopping/coffee, etc. Most of the people I know are through my husband and all his friends are either single or no kids yet. I really wanna find a circle of friends with kids.

Right now 2 other moms and myself get together on Thursdays for lunch and whatever else. You're more than welcome to join us if you'd like. We've been only meeting for about a month so we're still new to it too.

ok so we're not a big mommy group. its only 3 of us but i like that. you dont have to spend money like other mommy groups. you just have to buy your food if we go out to eat. we meet up in maple hts. most of the time, but thats because they both live out that way and it makes it easier. where in the cleveland area do you live? i live in lakewood. the kids ages are 2, 1, and 7 months..... the moms are 25, 21 and mid 20's. it would be nice to have a new face with new ideas. we meet up on thursdays around 12 pm. it really is alot of fun!!! you could e-mail me at ____@____.com ......... the girl that responded to you first is in my mommy group. so funny@

I'm not sure if this is your cup of tea but Parma Hts Baptist church has a mom to mom group on the third Friday of every month. I think they break for summer though. But they meet the third friday of every month from 9:30 am- 11:30 am. Child care is provided. There is no cost for being in this croup. There is generally a small bible study, or group conversation. Sometimes they have people come in and talk to the moms like pre-school teachers, etc to tell you what they want your children to be learning..or where your child should be. Sometimes they will have it be an entire craft session. There is always even a small craft and snacks etc. I also know that Divinity Lutheran church in Parma Hts also host a MOPs(mother of pre-schoolers) group and I am pretty sure that is on Tuesdays..not sure if it is every other Tuesday or if it is every third Tuesday though. They also have childcare provided...Hope this helps
