I am new to the area and was wondering if there were mom clubs or playgroups where me and my children can establish new friendships.
Hi M., I have a two year old boy,soon to be three.I have not been able to find a playgroup. I would be interested inpossibly getting together for a playdate. Let me know if you are interested and find other moms who also would be interested. thanks Stephanie
M., I am currently trying to get together with a few women in Overland Park. We were going to meet this weekend, but I had a conflict.

To give you a little background. I moved here a year ago with my family. We have two girls 3 & 1. I work part-time, but would be available Mondays & Fridays or Saturday mornings. One of the other moms also has a 3 year old daughter.
Also if you look at the Blue Valley Rec catalog they have different events for you and the kids.

I wanted to offer my son Graham and nanny as a play group if you were interested. I have a 14 month old son and currently work part-time. His nanny is with him M,W,F from 9:00 - 6:00. They have a fairly loose routine with many activities that pick and choose from daily. She is fabulous and very comfortable with Graham having friends over....you could join her with your kiddos - for an hour or maybe once a week - or even let her watch them all play while you run an errand or so (maybe nap in your condition). Just a htoguht. I know the ages aren't close but Graham has 2 cousins those same ages and is used to playing with them.

M. - I have a 4yr who enjoyed the Little Gym. I beleive there are two locations. 135st & 103st. Kennedy is know involved with Karate & loves it. Great group of people. My husband also travel M-F and some weekends. I feel the pain. I have two older daughter 17 & 12 that have their own hectic schedule.
My husband also travels M-Thurs. We just had our first child on 6-29. I am 30 and a stay at home mom :). It is a change. So I am also looking for support groups. Good luck in your search, I will keep you posted if I find one.
