Looking for Christmas Lights / Decorations
Does anyone know of a neighborhood where the houses are decorated for Christmas?

Thank you so much for your suggestions of where to see Christmas lights. We ended up going to Alameda (Thompson Drive) on Saturday night. We drove the street first and because there was so much to look at we parked the car and walked up and down the street looking at all the lights and decorations. My 2 year old was so excited and couldn't wait to get to the next house so she could see the lights. Only bummer was when we drove down the street Santa Claus was there with a line of kids to see him but by the time we parked and walked down to where he was he was gone. Thought for sure the 2 year old would be upset not being able to see Santa but with all the lights and decorations around her she didn't even remember he was there. Thank you again for helping me make a Chrismtas memory for my children.

Michaele M. wrote Christmas Tree Lane in Alameda. It is wonderful!. It is actually Thompson Street, cross street is High Street. It spands the length of High St and Fernside St. in Alameda. The exit off of 880 is High St. in Oakland. cross the High St. bridge to get into Alameda, and you will get to Thompson. Thompson St. is about 1 mile from the freeway exit.

Hi A.,
across the street from Iron Horse middle school in San Ramon there is a beautiful neighborhood, almost all of the houses in the courts participate, there are about 8 or 10 courts that really go all out. it's off of Bollinger exit on the 680.
have fun

Thompson Lane off High Street in Alameda is beautifully decorated with almost every house participating. Beware of traffic, it can take 30+ minutes to do the full circle drive on Friday and Saturday nights this close to Xmas! Enjoy!
