Looking for Babysitter and Great Pediatritian in Gahanna Area

You've probably gotten a lot of responses, but here's my two cents. I breastfed both of my children. Whenever I needed extra milk for bottles (going out of town, etc.), I just pumped at a time that my child did not normally eat. You should pick one time during the day that you will pump specifically for storage, and do it at that same time everyday. After a few days, your milk will come in regularly at that time, just as it would for a normal feeding. Also, try not to do it too close to your baby's eating time at first so that you don't run the risk of not having enough for him! After you pump for storage once a day, you may be able to move it up to twice. Hang in there, it'll all work out!

I take both of my children to Dr. Virginia DeVertieul. Her office is Pediatric and Adolescent Practioners in Gahanna at 453 Waterbury Ct in Gahanna. She is INCREDIBLE! I drive from Pickerington even though there are a lot of much closer pediatricians. My son is 10 and my daughter is 4 and both of them have gone to her since they were born. They love her (they call her Dr. D) and so do I. You can talk to her about anything...which was especially helpful with my first. The number to her office is ###-###-####. Unfortunately, I am of no help in the sitter arena.

My sister, Lynn lives near Gahanna. She is a 27 yr-old that works full time at abercrombie corp. She babysits occasionally on the weekends. We use Sitters Unlimited here in Powell and are very happy their service. The sitters are usually college students... Hope that helps!
