Amazing seamstress for clothing, bridal, costume, household in Costa Mesa (405 and Fairview exit). I've used her for over a decade for both personal and business:

If you use her, please let her know that J. V gave her the referral. I told her I was sending her info to you. Good luck! Write me if you have any more questions :)

My mother is a GREAT seamstress. She has been sewing and tailoring all her life. That's all she's done, since she was a teenager, so she has over 35 years of experience! She always does my hemming and also tailored my clothes whether it was a new pair of pants or a new dress. We'd go window shopping at the mall, and she'd pull out her notepad and draw the clothes that I wanted and she was able to make her own patterns out of it and sew it up for me! She even made all of my bridesmaids dresses for my wedding last August!! Her name is Thu Nguyen, and she sews out of her home in Placentia, but she also works for a tailor shop in Irvine during the day. Email me if you want her contact info. :)

I know of a very good tailor: Alter Max (located in Laguna Hills Mall) I've taken a number of things there. I'd love to know of a great seamstress to 'create' clothing myself. RSVP, J. ###-###-####

I'm a seamstress with 15 years of theatrical experience, building costumes and doing alterations. I've just recently started working with private clients from my home, in between freelance jobs at some of the local theatres. I can draft patterns, but it is often more efficient to adapt commercial patterns. I charge by the hour for my cutting and constructions time. Let me know if I can help you.
