Looking for a Table and Chair Set for My 15 Month Old

Hey moms! My first question is....does anyone know of a place (even online) to find good quality table and chairs for toddlers?? I'm not necessarily looking for cheap, as much as I'm looking for looks and durability.

My second question......has anyone gotten a table and chair set for your kids and are they used often? I have it in my mind that once I get a set for my daughter, that she will be able to eat snacks, etc there and be able to color/draw there as well. Whether she will actually sit still long enough to do those things....I'm not sure. What are your experiences and will I be wasting my money?

I guess I should ask about the little soft chairs for toddlers for the living room too. I just hate is that she doesn't have a little seat of her own and is always sitting/drawing/playing on the floor!

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated!!
Thank so much.

What can I do next?

I got a great one last summer at Bed, Bath and Beyond of all places. The chairs are tiny folding chairs, but they have locks on them so that they can't fold up on the kids when they're sitting in them. The table looks like a tiny card table and is made of dry erase material, so they can use dry erase markers on it and it comes right off. My daughter uses hers to draw, play with playdough and eat snacks. It's the perfect size and the chairs are very sturdy (they won't tip over easily). I'm not sure if they are still carrying them, but it was pretty inexpensive, so it's worth checking. The table comes in a set with 2 chairs and then they had extra chairs sold separately, so I bought 2 more.

I bought a table and chair set from IKEA and loved it... they have 2 different styles, both of which are affordable. My kids use it constantly, it's their art table. I keep crayons and coloring books on it, and they use it to color, draw, paint, write, etc. I also saw a really adorable set (a bit on the expensive side) at Home Goods in Town Center (Sugar Land). It looked hand-painted.

You can look online at IKEA's selections before driving out there, it's www.ikea.com. They also have some cute kids chairs for the livingroom, too.

Hope that helps!

Try Pier 1 or Gallery Furniture if you want a really nice set. Otherwise for a more "kiddy" and non-wood set, you can check Babies 'R Us. We use our Little Tikes set that was given to us second hand EVERY DAY! We couldn't live without it!
