Looking for a Pediatrician - Bell,CA

I take my daughter to Centers for Family Medicine. ###-###-####. It's on Katella sort of behind the Polly's Pies. Same strip building. Los Alamitos by Rossmoor.

She sees Dr. Andrea Brown. She is really sweet and caring. Very thoughtful and seems to take care of our whole family above what other doctors care to do. She isn't a pediatrician only...she's a general family doctor but it is nice that she treats all of us and knows us all by name.

And good for you getting a new doctor. I hated the referred doctor too. Rude, barely would touch my daughter and didn't care at all as to how we were all doing as a family unit.

First of all, let me say GOOD FOR YOU to search for a new doctor! It's very inportant to have a doctor you feel comfortable with... one that will take the time to care for your child and answer any questions you may have.

I have two daughters, Kayla(4 Years) & Savannah (1 1/2 years). They see Dr. Theresa Bondoc in Long Beach. She is on Bellflower Blvd., near the 405 Frwy. We love her. She is great with the kids. Never rushes me in or out. She will listen and answer any questions I have for her. I've always been able to get my kids in to see her quickly. If I call in the morning with a concern, I'm able to get them seen that day, usually they tell me to come right in. And if I just have a question Dr. Bondoc can answer over the phone, they always get her messages to her and she always calls back.

Hi I have five kids, and I absolutely love my pediatrician. She is in the downey are, Her name is Dr. Zuniga and her office is located on brookshire. She will always answers all of my questions and I ask a lot. If I call, she will always return my call the same day. I referred my brother to take his daughter there and they absolutely love her. And my brother has high expectations and actually though he was too good to take his daughter where I took mine. Then after switching several doctors he went to see her. Not too mention, every thing she says, has been right to the tee. For example she will say ok, this day the fever will stop, this day this will happen and though I might second guess at the time, her diagnoses always proves itself. Also, I credit her with saving my twins life, my twins were very sick but always got worse at night after hours where I would have to take them to the hospital, day after day, and doctors there always sent them home, with a different diagnose finally I took them to see there primary Dr. Zuniga she took one look at them, said it was RSV, admitted them to the hospital, they had a test there and she was right!!!

I take my son to Dr. Teresa Bondoc in Long Beach off the 405 on Bellflower Blvd. She is a wonderful doctor...very caring and always helpful when I call her for advice. Her staff is professional and helpful too.

Our pediatrician is Dr. Mendoza ###-###-####, he's located by the Lakewood Hospital on the corner of Downey and South St. He's also my niece and nephew's doctor. One time my sister was at the hosiptal visiting another family member and when Dr. Mendoza saw her he asked about the kids by their first names. I also like that he belongs to this program, I forgot the name, but it's because he believes every child should have proper health care, so if you don't have health insurance or you can't afford to pay they provide vaccinations and other health services for free.

He's been great with my twins. Every time i've had to call him, either after hours or on the weekend, he's called back in a short period of time. The nurse's and office staff have also been really nice.

I have two children and i have a awesome pediatrician. I have about 5 friends that take there kids to him. He ia a older gentleman but has a pratice forever and is very dedicated to his kids, i can't imagine life without him. The only small problem is that he is in Huntington beach. It is about 30 minutes from me, a small price to pay for a awesome service.
