I'm having a hard time finding a preschool in my Maineville area. I've researched reviews online and I don't see anything with feedback from parents. I want to stay very local (not more than 5-10 minutes away). Open enrollement for fall is right now, which I think is way too early. But if I don't get a spot somewhere, I think we'll be settling for whats left over this summer. I decided to not send her at 3, she wasn't ready. But she'll be 4 in April. Anyone have a great preschool they've personally experienced?
I've heard great things from friends who send/have sent their children to Lakeview Preschool on Columbia Rd..
Loveland Christian Preschool (not too far from Maineville) is where I sent my son. We loved it. It is a preschool, not a day care center and the teachers there really love the kids and use all kinds of activities and learning styles to help them learn and thrive. While my two did not go to preschool and I do think they suffered in later school years (we could not afford it nor did we quailify for headstart or the preschool at our school). I can tell you about my sister's 3 boys who all went. She started the olldest at a co-op preschool and he did very well all through school graduated with 2 majors. The other 2 went to the same school but they had a different teacher who my sister didn't like. The lady implied her middle child was gay and you can tell as young as age 3. Ticked my sister off big time. She found a preschool run at the local Y and stated she wished they had all went there. The middle child graduated valevictornan and the youngest was thrid in his class but had a higher GPA the Andy did. Dusty the youngest was and still is a math wiz. He could recall phone numbers told months before and knew whose they were for. They are in college and on the dean's list. Call the school Kthrough 3 or 6 how hoigh they go in your area and ask who the PTA or PTO president is they usually know who sent kids to preschools and which ones are the best. Or at least our PTA president knows all that. She's very up on all the schools for children with issues and those without.

I highly recommend Tender Years Cooperative Preschool in Loveland. I sent both of my children there and look forward to sending my new Granddaughter there in a few years. It's very well established.

H. - My daughter (3-years-old) is currently attending the Kings Kids Preschool/Daycare program. It is WONDERFUL!!! I 100% endorse this program! You can have your kid attend preschool only or attend both preschool and daycare. I would call ASAP as this program fills up pretty quickly (and they opened enrollment to the public on Monday, January 12). The teachers and daycare providers are wonderful and are great with the kids! They offer both 3-year-old and 4-year-old classes. If you decide to go this route; I think you will enjoy it! BTW, like you, I live in Maineville; but Kings Kids is worth it ... even knowing that my daughter will not continue on with these kids.
Hi, H.! I was in the same situation last fall with my three year old son. It depends if you are looking for a part time preschool experience or an all day preschool/daycare. I had to go with the all day one because my husband and I work full time. My son goes to Kids r Kids and we like it very much. I don't like having to keep him there all day, but they do such a great job of keeping them busy and happy. They having learning time, craft time, many different toys for free time. They also have a special activity each day that is taught by an expert such as Japenese, Music and Movement, Gym, Sign Language, and Storytime. The kids really enjoy these. My son was sick yesterday and they called me right away and one of the supervisors held him and comforted him until I got there. One drawback is that there are a lot of kids in one classroom. At the most 24 a day but sometimes less. However, the rooms are large and there is always two teachers. I really like the teachers there, but they have had a few that they have hired and then they have quit right away. If you're not looking for an all day one, then I have heard really good things about Lakeside Church and King of Kings programs. Good luck! I know how stressful this can be!
My son is in his second year of preschool at the Countryside YMCA program in Lebanon. I have really liked it and the teachers are really nice. I hope this helps.
