check out Ikea. There's one in Canton (ford rd and 275). We got our daughters entire bedroom set from there, and it's not too badly priced.

My grandkids are very happy with their bunks from Ikea in Canton, and they're a good price. Very sturdy.

We just found a great deal for a new bed for our son on Craigslist. Check everyday.

If you want to send me your e-mail, I can send you a picture of my kids bunk bed. I love this thing! It is the black metal futon bunk bed that will go from a full size bed to a couch on the bottom and has a twin bed on top. It is so awesome! I've had it for 10 years now and it is still solid as a rock. It could always be repainted if you ever wanted to change with decore, as the kids get older. Also, as they get older, when they have friends over they can put the bed up to a couch and hang out in their room. It has really grown with my children and with the changing taste in decore. If the mattress gets old, that is all you have to change...just the one mattress...no box spring...saves money there too. Not to mention, the way this thing is holding up, one of the kids will be able to take this to college later. I can't believe how well it is holding up against my 5 kids. When I moved in with my husband, he had one for his 2 kids, so I put my oldest daughter in the top bunk with my middle daughter and his youngest daughter in the bottom bunk, and my youngest son and his oldest son were in the other room sharing the other bunk bed. It worked out for a while till the two little girls got older then my oldest needed a bed of her own. But those bunk beds are still holding up great against all those kids climbing and hanging off them all the time. Great investment!

I second Craigslist. I got a great wooden, very sturdy one for my two boys for $100! Probably saved at least $900!

Happy Hunting!

I've heard good reviews on the bunk beds from Ikea as well - it takes a little while to put them together but they're very sturdy. Another good place to look is Overstock.com. I've gotten some housewares from there before and have been very happy. Just make sure to read the reviews for the particular item you're considering - it gives you a good feel for what you're buying.

Try craigslist.com - I got a brand new still in the box daybed, and pop up trundle for $150 this past weekend. Had to drive 30min away but had I purchased it from a store it would have been at least $300 for the same thing. I would try it not everything is used they do sell new things as well. Good luck
