There are not a lot of legit work at home jobs that don't involve recruiting, selling, investing, parties, etc

Think outside the box..... what are you good at, what do you like to do, etc.

Working at home is "WORKING" and does not involve babies, pets, etc.. Most companies who have people working at home want that time to be specifically dedicated to the work... no kids, no pets, no nothing but work.

The only ones I've heard of are scams or it takes forever to build it up to where you'd get decent money. Some of them out there will try to take your money up front so that you buy into books and then they end up with your money you don't get back and you don't make anything.

If you do find one, make sure they are a reliable company. Plus yes, most of these jobs requiring selling. If you could afford it, go to college and even get a medical transcriptionist certificate and then you could work from home for a doctors office.

Best of luck to you and your pregnancy!

ebay...getting rid of the things your family no longer needs.
craigslist - same as above.

If you don't want to "sell" something - you will be hard pressed to find a job to be able to work from home....that isn't a scam...I've heard about west but don't have any personal experience with them..

good luck!!

I am involved in a company called BeautiControl as an Independent Consultant and although as consultants we do have parties there are other opportunities to be successful without doing all parties that would be more conducive to you being at home more. I have to do my business mainly from home as due to medical issues I am on bedrest alot. I would be happy to talk more with you about this opportunity if you are interested. Please feel free to contact me.

www.westathome.com (they might take a while to get back to you) and www.liveops.com. i worked for west and honestly they were great. they even offer insurance that you can pay for. i checked them with the BBB and they had great ratings, etc. my SIL works for liveops and now west, too. she gets paid regularly from both. with liveops, you are your own boss, so you have to take taxes out on yourself. with west, you are an employee, so they take out taxes. with both, you need high speed internet, wired computer hookup to internet, and separate phone line with no features.

I am currently working from home so I can stay at home with my two little ones. It is part-time and does require that I set aside/schedule specific time to do it (naptime, bedtime, etc). It is hard to work with two toddlers pulling at your legs! LOL Anyway, the company is global, publicly traded and debt free. It has been around for 23 years. One of the things I really enjoy about it is that I am helping to make a difference in people's lives, which is really important to me. If you want more information, let me know. Good luck to you!

I am a marketing exec for Melaleuca and love it! I love the products, they are all safe, non-toxic and eco-friendly. I love the company, they have been around for over 25 years, have been on 500 Inc., have great customer service, all of these are important to me in representing a product to others. And I love the fact that it has replaced one income and working on replacing the second income so that both my husband and I can work from home and be home with our family. There is also very low startup and investment costs and it is all risk free, (it really is).Let me know if would like more info.
Whatever you do, do lots of research on the company.

Hi Shane,
I grew up in Southgate not far from Dearborn :)
I have been working at home for 7 years now. It is work, but I love the flexibility to be here with my children, they are now 5 and 7. I left my teaching career to be with them. I make a lot more than I did teaching and it is part time. I make my own hours scheduling appts and doing online account activations.
I help others duplicate what I do, we are an A rated BBB company that is legit and does not involve purchasing inventory or hosting parties.
You can message me if you would like more details :)
