Hi Moms -
My son apparently sat in some gum the other day while wearing some jogging pants (polyester). I didn't notice it until after I sent them through the washer and dryer. Now there is a dime-sized wad of gum stuck to the back of his pants. Anyone have any tips for getting it out? Thanks!

What can I do next?

Try ice to make the gum hard enough to pick or scrape off.
Peanut butter is good, but it has lots of oil in it which might leave another stain.
Try icing first.

Just my opion.

HappyMama-

After the 'fixes' below, try some 'goo gone'...comes in a yellowish plastic bottle...I find mine at lowes (home store). It may remove some colour (although I have never had that happen) but can't be worse than gum residue!

Best Luck!

Ice/freese the gum and peel it of when it is hard.

Freeze it overnight and then chip it off with a butterknife.
