Apple carrot and parsley. Look up the health benefits of parsley. You'll be amazed. Try to add it often. It's very good for you. D.

Hi P.! Love, love, love this recipe. It keeps your skin smooth and is also good for colds & nausea, too.

5 carrots, trimmed & cut into 2 to 3 inch pieces
1 apple (green is best) cut into wedges
1/2 inch knob of gingerroot sliced if necessary

Pick up the book "The Juiceman's Power of Juicing" for 100+ recipes ($6.99, I believe). There are some pretty good ones in there! Hope this helps. Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm a juicer too. What I started with, to make the transition easier, was apples and carrots and gradually increase the carrots. You don't have to eliminate the apples.

These days I juice 4 apples, a 2 pound bag of carrots, a head of red leaf, a head of romaine, spinach (classic if you buy Aunt Mid's, if you buy organic get a bouquet of it), brocolli, a couple red beets (golden beets if you can get to Whole Foods!), a container of strawberries, 2 lemons average size, 2 containers of blueberries, and some concord grape (only) juice. Lasts for about a week depending on how many drink it.
