JFF...which Side of the Bed Do You Sleep In?

I sleep on the right side of the bed. Him on the left. I am small, he is much bigger than me. Yet, most days I end up sprawled diagonally across the bed, head on my pillow corner, and my feet nicely plopped over his legs. Bad me...?! :)
So, how about you ladies? And the few good men too? :))

What can I do next?

I sleep on the right, which has always been closest to the door. At my wife's request, and do you know why that is..... in her words "because if someone gets us, they'll get you first..." Really..? Thanks honey.

Farthest from the door, so the hubs can deal with the boogie man first...lol!

Hasnt benefited me much, have to get to the bathroom all night and not a boogie man in sight... may need to get over it and switch ;)

I sleep on the left. And he LOVES it when I'm into a good book. I'll hold the book in my left hand and scratch his back with my right. A win-win!

Mrs. On Purpose is knocked up - so I sleep on 8 inches of our king mattress that she doesn't claim with a wayward leg or strategically placed arm.

On the left from the view of laying on your back in the bed.

Left side, by the wall. Doors shut, lights off, buried as much as possible under two hundred blankets.

I have to start out on my tummy, preferably squashed by my husband, and then, sometime in my sleep I move over to my back, legs and arms spread in every direction.

My husband sleeps hot (weirdo ;-) and I am almost always cold - he's my heater until he gets to hot and sweaty.

I don't believe a word "they" say, but apparently I'm a terrible bed hog.

During my last trimester of pregnancy I slept in the middle of the bed and him on the couch ("sorry this bed already has two people in it!") Now I kinda sleep diagnol most of the night. He works nights so we only share the bed for about 2hrs.

I am single so I sleep all over the bed.
When I was married, I slept on the right side, looking from the foot of the bed.

My son still comes to snuggle with me and watch movies and usually falls asleep. He's a bed hog too. He's turning 17 so I just scoot over for him.
When I sleep alone, I sleep all over the place. My son was in a queen sized bed at an early age so he's used to making use of every inch of sleeping space too.

And, he snores. Just like me. LOL.

By the door! No matter which side that is!

On my stomach, arms under my pillows, piled under down, feet sticking out!

My fav ancillary ways to sleep: legs tangled or thrown over mine (live the weight), held in strong arms (weight plus motion of heart and breathing), on trains or boats (love the motion), or my son's hand holding onto mine..

This is hillarious! Okay so....when we had a tiny baby waking us up...oh, I mean waking ME up...I was right near the door. Now we have switched, I think hubby likes it that way better so he can be closest to the door? Hm. But we do have a window on my side and his side, so I guess the doorway doesn't matter really..

Used to always be the side closest to the door. Even before we had kids, it just worked out that way. But after kids, I was the one who was getting up in the night with them, and they always came to my side of the bed, if they were up during the night. So I always slept on that side.

In this house, that was true also. Until we rearranged the bedroom furniture a couple of years ago. I retained the same side, only now it is farther from the bedroom door. (But closer to the patio door, lol).

When we visit my parents, I always sleep on the far-away-from-the-door side. Because there is a desk there and I put my glasses on it.

Closest to the door, no matter what side. Even in hotels. Although if I have a bed to myself, I tend to end up in the middle.

well i don't have any laughs for you but since you asked...i sleep on the right side. and my husband takes up about 75% of the bed somehow :) but he insists on sleeping between me and the door/window which i think is sweet :) bad thing is, the fan is also on that side and i roast most nights, while he is freezing. well there's this giant mountain between me and the cool air.... (and he's NOT that huge! lol! 6' 3" and maybe 240 lbs?? ok a big guy but from what i described he sounded like a 500 lb bohemoth so i had to clarify...lol)

It used to be away from the door and windows if possible, because I was so scared of people coming in. Don't know why...but still.

Now it's normally closest to the door so I can get up and out if necessary, if the kids need me, etc. At home I'm on the right and he's on the left.

But, I always tell everyone my half of the bed is the whole bed and I'm nice enough to share with him :).

Just this morning when he kissed me good bye and said "Love you," he asked why I always spread out as soon as he says that. I think it's because I'm half asleep but I know he's not getting back in bed so I take reign :).
