Me, too!
Glad yours is, as well.
I've been busier than I thought.
Nothing fun yet but a few trips planned.
Have gone through some clothing bins, been outside playing, gone on some bike rides, been to the ocean, a lake a few hours away, boating.

I've relaxed, worked hard, had fun.

I hope to see some friends, do something different.

I have taken my child to go do some fun different things, visited different parks, try new things. I'm happy!

I'm 50/50 on it. The first few weeks were OK, it was nice to have a relaxed schedule, no homework, less schlepping, but now my kids are getting sick of being together 24/7. They're picking at each other all the time. The next two weeks are going to be long until our vacation. Then we'll have another 3 weeks until school starts. It's fairly safe to say I'll be ready for school to start.

Summer is the best time......... I am selfish though.. to me, it means more time with my 10 year son.. I love this time of year.. We do simple things like take walks, have picnics, go swimming.... stay up later :) Additionally, My son is attending 4 weeks of Summer School. This year, he LOVES his classes.. He goes in the morning for three hours and then I pick him up and we go out on a new adventure. He loves things like travel and cooking, so to him, a new adventure is visiting a grocery store where they sell foods he may not have tried, e.g. Yesterday, we visited a Russian market and bakery.. Next stop, he wants to visit the Jerusalem market :) he's pretty easygoing and doesn't require constant activity.. Also, I love the fact that as he gets older, we have more discussions... I truly love hearing his perceptions about our world we live in.. it's really refreshing.. so yes, my Summer is going GREAT!!!
