I share your fear of bombarding out little babies with too many shots all at once. And a HepB shot for a newborn!!?? Please!! We were among the few people at Kaiser Santa Clara to say NO to Hep B for our firstborn, born in 2004, said one nurse.

Kaiser WILL let you do one shot at a time. We did so for my son, now almost 4, and are doing so for my daughter, now 9 months. It is a lot of extra trips to the Dr. but easier to make extra trips than deal with autism for years and years.

Oh, and Kaiser WILL and CAN separate out the MMR shot at one year, the big bad one according to vaccine research. Do M at 12 months, M at 13 and R at 14.

My friend's son has autism (age 8.5) and she is convinced it is because he received thimerosol vaccines. Another friend's daughter (age 6) has seizures after her MMR shot at age 1. That is enough for me. I will do them one at a time. Let me know if you want to chat more

South east bay pediatricians! I absolutely love dr. dugoni! She has four children of her own and is very helpful and listens to all your concerns. OUt of all the 7 doctors in the group, there is only one to avoid, Dr. Alpert. Myself and my friends haven't had very good experiences with her.

I have two boys, 13 and 17. We have gone to South East Bay Pediatric Group, on Mowry in Fremont since they were born. We love our doctor, Dr. Friedken. At times, when he is not in the office, there is always another competent doctor to see the boys. They are flexible and open late, and on weekends too. If you have a sick child and need to be seen, they amost always can get you in that same day. You can even call them just for advice. We use Dr. Stephen Friedken, but have always been more than pleased with the other staff when we needed to see a different doctor. Good luck!

I also love Dr. Susan Dugoni at East South Bay Pediatric Group. My daughter will be 5 yrs old this month and has been her doctor since she was born. She only works 2 days a week so you schedule well check visits on her days. And when the little one gets sick there are 6 other doctors. She's seen Dr. Burke & Dr. Friedman and both were very nice and helpful. She doesn't do interviews but I did talk to her on the phone before my daughter was born. I love her so much, we moved to Alameda 2 years ago and still haven't switched doctors!
