Hi Mama's...We're having a baby girl on/around 4/27. I have started my daycare search for our baby. We have a 3 yr. old..(just turned 3 today!), but she will be continuing on in school. I am looking for an in-home situation where there are only babies. With my 3 yr. old we had an awesome situation, she was 5 minutes from my office, in-home setting, with 3 other girls that were all 6 wks. apart from eachother..unfortunately our caregiver (for us anyways), went back to school, so now I'm looking for the same type of situation for our new baby girl. We live in Savannah and my husband works in Dallas and I work in Grapevine. We take the tollway and 121 to work, at least I do everyday, so I am looking for someone around those areas who has an in-home daycare, specifically w/ babies. More than likely I won't be needing anyone until August, possibly July, not 100% sure on plans yet, but it will be mid/late summer. If anyone knows of anyone or if you have do this in your home, please contact me. I know it's early, but I need to have all my "ducks in a row" and I need to work on my budget as well..we all know about the price of daycare for one, let alone for two kiddos!! Thanks in advance Mama's!

What can I do next?

Good afternoon! Would you or anyone you know might be interested in hiring an Au Pair?

Au pairs are foreign exchange students, young women (and men), ages 18-26
primarily from Europe & Latin America, that want to spend a year or more
with an American family. They are fluent in English as well as their native
language.

In exchange for a private room, board, a weekly stipend and an annual
educational allowance of $500 they'll provide up to 45 hours of childcare
(and related childcare duties) as a live-in nanny. They are in the USA on legal
visas and can also travel domestically or abroad with minimal paperwork. They
are required to attend monthly au pair meetings, and obtain 6 hours of credit
from an accredited school/college annually. They are screened, medically insured
and experienced.

Here is just a short list of what our Au Pairs can do.
* Quality Coverage for up to 45 hours per week (you set the schedule!)
* Weekends/Nights are Possible
* Au Pairs handle Children's meals, laundry and clean up
* Children are exposed to new language and culture
* Most Au Pairs drive (so children's activities, school, etc. are easier to
handle)
* They live-in -- so snow days / sick days are not a problem!
* Continuous local support for your local counselor
* Our Agency handles visas, flights, etc.
* Au Pairs usually stay one year -- but new rules allow them to choose an extra
year.
* Our Au Pair Program is regulated by the U.S. Dept. of State

All Au Pairs:
*Participate in a careful screening process
*Are qualified 18 to 26 years old
*Are proficient in English
*Participate in an orientation and training program
*Enjoy children and have previous experience
*Express a sincere interest in living with an American family for a year
*Have successfully completed their country's secondary education
*The entire program is overseen by the U.S. Dept. of State!!

We offer both a full year program and a summer Au Pair program. Host Families
on the full year program have the option to extend their au pair's stay
longer if needed.

Can they drive? Do we need to provide a car?
Drivers are a frequent request and they're certainly available. However,
there is no need to provide a dedicated vehicle. Having access to a car for
their duties is convenient for many households that don't have mass transit
options nearby. If you're located in an urban area with public transport
then a non-driving au pair could work as well.

Are you interested? Do you know anyone who might be interested in this
wonderful program? If the answer is yes, feel free to contact me, via email. Please see bellow the 12 year program fees:

1) A $177 weekly stipend

2) Annual educational allowance of $500

3) $300 application fee

4) $2500 deposit

5) $4550 program fee balance.

Right now, we are offering a $1000 off regular program fees so it comes out
roughly at $334 a week and $47 a day!

Regards,.

I recommend Primrose Schools. The two that I know the best are both owned by the same family. They are in it for the kiddos and the families.

They offer different corporate discounts, multi children discounts and I beleive teacher discounts. They have the best curriculium, very clean facilities, low teacher children ratio and the greatest infant rooms around! I don't trust home childcare. There have been too many stories, and really how well do you know a person to trust them with your child? They may or maynot be licensed....

At Primrose you know that the teachers are trained, you have multiple caregivers and one of the best owners you could have. Here is the web-site to the schools that I trust and believe in:

Hi K.,
I have 4 wonderful children (ages 7, 8, 9, and 11 months). My first, second, and third graders are in school in Frisco during the day and my baby boy is home with me...I feel so blessed to be at home with him and I am looking to care for only one other child with my own. We have a Godly home and I would love to share our environment with the right family. I was a nanny in college and have cared for children off and on my enire life (while pregnant with my first boy and last). Having only one other child in addition to my own to care for allows me to give the children one on one quality time and attention. I would love to speak with you if your interested. Thanks C. ###-###-####
