Infant Care
Hi there! I am looking for information about infant care. I am due in March. My husband and I are not sure how long we will be able to stay home with our new baby girl and are looking now for alternate options. Can you help? Thanks!

Hi there-
Check out this site:
http://www.dfps.state.tx.us/child_care/search_texas_child...
It allows you to search for daycare by zipcode and other information. You can then check out the results of recent inspections. I used it to find a great daycare near our home. If it's close to you, I'm very fond of Sonshine Garden Daycare on the north side of Garland Road between Easton and Jupiter at First Family Church. I'm sorry, but I can't remember the exact address, but if it's close to you, you'll be able to find it from that... :)

A., One of the best places that I know of is Childtime in Plano on Hedgcoxe. They have the very best infant room. Older ladies work with the infants. This place is really clean. Wonderful staff. You might check them out. Good luck! ###-###-####

Hi A., Congratulations on your happy news! I have an in home child care in McKinney which I'm sure is too far for you and I take kids once they are about 1 but you can go on the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services website for a list of registered homes in your area if this is something you want to consider. If you can find the right person, I think it is a great choice when looking to find care for your little one. I don't know if you are familiar with any of this or not but if you are planning on having a day care in your home you can either get listed (have up to 3 kids) or registered (6 kids) in your home and are licensed and inspected by the state. We all have to have our homes inspected, have CPR/First aid training, background checks, yearly training etc. before we are licensed. Good luck in your search. If there is anything I can do to help...let me know. All of my contact info is on my website at www.kidsinbloom.blogspot.com, A.

Hi A.,
I appreciate you hearing my advice! I am offering an opportunity to stay at home, and not even need the infant care. I worked 10 years in corp. america, making 6 figures the last 5 years. I am now home with my 10 yr old and 7 month old and have a FAST growing Arbonne business. I would love for you to at least look at the opportunity. The income potential is unlimited. And, you own your life! Here's my website http://www.jennifercaldwell.myarbonne.com
I hope to hear from you!

We had an excellent experience with Primrose School on Breckinridge Park in Richardson and I have heard wonderful things about various other Primrose facilities, so you may wish to check into them. Visit www.primroseschools.com for a location near you. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to e-mail me. Good luck with the baby!
