Just transitioned my daughter to a Toddler Bed. She now gets up in the middle of the night and quietly walks to the the living room and watches TV, thank God its still on Noggin.... Any ideas on how I can keep her in her bed?
Put a baby gate in her doorway. This way she doesn't have to stay in bed (there is no way to do this, other then to tie her in) but she does have to stay in her room. Just baby-proof her room and don't allow any toys in there. This way it will be to boring and she'll go back to sleep. Also, put up the remote so she can't reach it, and turn off the cable box so even if she turns on the tv it will only be black and again to boring to stay up.

Here are a few suggestions I've tried or heard about from other moms:
Have you tried the sticker reward system? for evey night she stays in her bed, she gets a sticker. The first round would result in a prize every morning for 3 monrings,then expand to 3 days. You have to keep that up for about 3 weeks, so the rewards have to be affordable and somehing you can gently remove- say after the first 3 times, then wait 5 days, and then 7.
Can you unplug the tv?
Can you put some toys in a basket and give her a little lamp she can turn on? Then she can play on her bed until she gets sleepy again.

I would suggest to hang a wind chime or something so that you hear her get up and then you take her back to her bed, it may take a few times, but with consistency it should work. I also agree with unplugging the TV.
we left the crib up, and when they got out of bed, we put them back in the crib. they got the picture really quickly :)
