I have a 1month old baby and i can hear some gurgling sound on his throat and he's having a hard time breathing when he's sleeping so i tend to elevate his head most of the time. Im just wondering where that sound is coming from when i dont think he has a cough, or is that a symptom of having a phlegm that could lead to cough? Please help.
Oh, please call your doctor. That's what he or she is there for. It's often hard to tell about health problems with newborns, and your baby can't communicate with you. Go ahead, call, pick the doctor's brain, and find out what to do.

He should still be able to get a cough out. If you are worried, get him to the doctor.
