How Old Was Your Son When He Grew Out of the BOB Duallie?

I've gotten some great responses on here regarding what to do for a double stroller - and at this point, I'm sort of leaning towards the BOB duallie. That being said, I'm curious when you felt your son outgrew it if you had one. I saw a mom in the park with two little ones and a 4 and a 1/2 year old boy yesterday who claimed she still could fit him in it - but it seemed unlikely... so any feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I have the BOB duallie and if the shade is not out, my son is too tall. he's almost 3. Im hoping that maybe his growth will slow down and ill just have ti put the shade out over him so its not smushing against his head. I was really bummed that it happened so soon. We just got it when he was turning 2!. I thought it would be a stroller we could use for a few years... my daughter is only 10 months, so she is still good for awhile.

I have two girls, almost 3 and 5. We live in Chicago and walk everywhere and have the Bob Duallie. My 5 year old still fits in it, but it is getting a little snug in the width. It is a great stroller and pushes like a dream and has no problem getting through snow.

I don't have sons... but my 40" tall daughters still fit in the Bob with lots of room to spare. I've given their four and five year old friends rides in the Bob and even the taller boys were fine. Their tallest friend is REALLY tall. Maybe 50"? His head was almost touching the sunscreen part but not quite. And he had lots of side to side room, and his feet rested comfortably on the foot part.

I think at that age the bigger problem is whether your child wants to sit in the stroller or not. My girls are a few weeks away from four and they have no interest in riding in a stroller.

I just bought a BOB stroller for my just turned 4 year old and he fits just fine. I got a really good deal on last years model so I bought it. We go for really long walks and he can do most of it but when we go at night or day long walks he still likes to sit. It is so easy to push I don't know why I waited all this time to get one. I know he won't be using it much longer but my sister just had a baby so Ill get to use it with her.
