i have two weeks until I can excersise. I'm dying to see my figure back. I thought it was hard to get in shape with one baby. I don't know how I'm going to swing it this time. For you mommies who managed to get it back, how did you do it? I need some encouragement. I've got 15 lbs to loose and I feel like a bowl of jelly.

What can I do next?

I go to an AMAZING Mommy Boot Camp. If anyone is in the Westside area (Playa Vista, Marina Del Rey, Santa Monica, Hermosa Beach Area) this is a work out that will surely give you results! I lost 12 lbs in 2 months and replaced fat with muscle. The owner is AWESOME! She really understands a moms body. Check out the website www.bootcamp4moms.com. I am really blessed to have her!

count your calories! I was nursing so you have to stay between 1500 and 1800 in order to lose weight without messing up your supply. If your not nursing you can do a little less calories but still at about 1500 you can shed the weight. I did that and lost all my baby weight pretty fast plus even more. I also did slimfast and ate lean cuisines cause the calories are on the back and it helps to take guess work out of it. So just to give you an idea of how it worked for me. I am 5'3 and I was 142 pounds when I had baby #2 by 2 months I was 118 by 5 months I was 115 and by 9 or 10 months I was down to 107. So it can be done you just have to work at it and my patient. :)

I joined Jenny Craig and 24 hour fitness. I only did Jenny Craig for a couple of months after my 2nd son and then really just worked out consistently 3-4 times/week. I learned how to eat with Jenny Craig and did it after my first son and then again after my second. It really helps get you going and boost your encouragement. I am 20 lbs lighter than before my 2 kids and look and feel better than ever. However, it takes a lot of dedication and committment and I had about 30 lbs to lose not just 15. I still work out 3 times/week and I am very cognizant of everything I eat. Good luck!!

I gained 60 lbs with my 2nd and 55 lbs with my 3rd. Those 2 kids weighed 7# and some ounces so I didn't lose much weight after I delivered, but I was able to lose the pregnancy weight within 3-4 months tops! It won't take you very long b/c you have half of what I had left to lose. What I did was eat from all the food groups, which was also very healthy. This is the plan I followed: Every day eat 2 Proteins, 1 Dairy, 3 Fruits, 4 Veggies, 2 Starch. Add a little salt and fat (butter) into your food every day, but not a lot (you still need a little in your diet). Make sure you eat every 2 hours and drink 8 glasses of water a day (or as much as you can). Any physical exercise will speed up the time it takes to reach your goal, but even if you don't exercise you'll easily get there by just following this diet plan. I would cheat a little on the weekends because you'll fail if you don't give into temptation once in awhile (just don't over do it). I also weighed myself weekly, and measured my waist and hips weekly, and recorded it. You'll probably notice quite a bit come off at first, then it'll slow down. Sometimes you may not notice much weight change, but you might in your measurements and vice versa. Also, the # of fruits and veggies may sound like a lot, but the portions are smaller than you'd think. Plus, meats don't need to be larger than the size of a deck of cards. Dairy would be like the milk in your cereal bowl, or a yogurt cup. Let me know if you have any questions or need more suggestions on food ideas and/or portions. Best of luck to you! You can do it! I had people tell me that their weight never came off after the last child, but mine did with all 4 of my babies and yours can too!

My honest answer? I didn't until I also got my sex life back. My husband at the time and I had some deep seated problems that had left me depressed (combined with the hormones of postpartum and I ended up with postpartum depression). His constant cheating had left me feeling asexual. When I started being with my current partner, and we had that typical "new" sex life--plus lots of dancing and music that brightened my life--the weight melted right off.
