I have protein powder that I mix with strawberries or blueberries and then toss in some spinach and cold water. You can't taste the spinach, but it will usually turn the drink green unless blueberries are in it.
For veggies, I put in a carrot, apple, some fresh ginger and spinach.

Tons of good juicing recipes on line...also, juicing with granny smith apples will cover up almost anything....I've used carrots, celery (not too much--this has a very strong taste, dark greens do too), and tons of stuff mixed with apples and it tasted great! Also, if you do smoothies, I always blend in a handful of raw spinach...when it's raw, you can't taste it b/c it has a slightly sweet taste. So for a smoothie I might do yogurt, milk, frozen banana, other frozen fruit (strawberries, blueberries, anything), raw spinach, ground flax, and coconut or fish oil. My kids drink it up!

My kids have really been into smoothies lately. I usually just add a banana, strawberries, blueberries, pineapple or any other fruit, mixed with milk, fruit yogurt, and a couple handfulls of ice all to a blender. They love it! Sometimes instead of milk, we add orange juice and even sherbert ice cream.

My kids drink even more of it when I let them help me prepare it.

Great Decision, I make my kids juice with all the whole fruits and veggies out there and I also make them smoothies, which they enjoy. My kids were brought up in a culture that promotes healthy living so it is natural for them to ask for a smoothie more than a soda. (Portland Oregon) but we moved south and the kids all drink sodas so they have some bad influence down here but I still get those smoothies in. Far as just juice, a mix of apples, carrots, a few grapes (not too many as they are really sweet), some blueberries, juice them and it is a sweet drink, guaranteed to be loved and then they get all that antioxidants which are awesome. The nice thing about making a smoothie (don't let them watch you cause some kids won't drink it if they see you put in spring lettuce) but anyway, I make smoothies by adding a little juice, 100% apple, half a cup of greek yogurt or Keifer, all those fruits mentioned above plus a whole banana, 2 handfuls of spring mix leaves, it will give it a brown color but it tastes yummy! Remember anything you are trying to disguise( as most kids do not eat salads) you want to add a banana and they will never know what is in there. My kids are now at the age of 13 and 16 so they can see me make it and still drink it. Good Luck to you!!

If he likes smoothies and that sort of thing, Yoplait has something that you jsut keep in the freezer till you want it and you add up to a cup and a half of milk and blend it, and it takes good without sugar. I get it a lot to have for breakfast. Not really a good answer, but I hope it helps a little
