Has Anyone Tried the Cloth Inserts for Gdiapers?
Hi Mamas,
Have any of you tried gdiapers with their new cloth insert? Also, have any of you used the gdiaper system with your potty training toddlers? I was thinking of using them like "pull-ups" when we start potty training.
Thanks!
A.

I use the gdiapers with the gerber cloth inserts. Did not know gdiapers now make cloth inserts. But have not had a problem, as long as I change my son right away we are okay. I have not tried them overnight, I use a disposable at night.
If you use cloth inserts, with my son the minute he is wet he wines (only 3 months) and so we change him. I would suggest going right to underwear from cloth diapers for potty training. I used pull-ups with the first son and it was just like a diaper. went straight to underwear for 2nd son and he was potty trained in no time. (used pull-ups at night though)
Hope this helps.

Hi Ann - I have not tried the gdiapers with cloth inserts. Have you been using them for long? I really really wanted to use them but every time I tried we had major leakage. I've tried all of their techniques but it just didn't work out. I don't see why though, it wouldn't work as pull-ups for potty training.

I have been using these on my son for 3 months. I do recommend them. They are easy to take off and are super cute when on.

I didn't use cloth inserts. I used something called "Diaper Doublers" and they were sold near the disposable diapers. My son slept all night very early on so he would get soaked. They are like really big Maxi-pads that you put inside the diaper and they worked great! I had him in underwear during the day and used a diaper doubler at night until he was fully potty trained.
