Can anyone recommend a good hair stylist in the New Lenox area? I get my hair cut and highlighted about once every 6-8 weeks and am looking for someone with good rates (I pay $65 now) who cuts out of their home or a shop. I like my current stylist, but lately I feel she is more focused on the more social aspect of styling then details of helping one style, etc. I am a child of the 90's when it was all about volume. I am having a hard time adjusting and styling these straight hairstyles. I appreciate any recommendations...thanks!!!
Love Tara Bella in Frankfort. Very comfortable and happy place. They know you by name after one visit and my family has personally used 6 different sylist there and loved them all. (I use Jami Morgan, but Nicole and Tara do a great job too). Tracey is the owner (tara is her daughter. They make you feel right at home.
Samantha Marie's is my NEW favorite place! Katie styled my daughter's hair and now mine and I love it. Prices for a first hair cut were a little pricy but there is a 20% coupon floating around in one of the phone books that I couldn't find but they honored anyway. They are located in the new Berkot's strip mall, off of Laraway Road. Also, Split Endz (CVS/Dunkin Donut's strip mall) does a good job highlighting and her prices are a bit lower w/ a $5.00 coupon in the coupon mailer that ypu probably get. Good luck!
I go to Charles Morris Salon in New Lenox. It is a nice salon with a lot of down to earth stylists. I think their prices are average and the service is great. I would recommend Crissy, Jenny, or Carole in that order. Good luck. I think they offer discounts to first time customers, or at least they use to.
The girl I go to is in Frankfort off of 80th Ave and St Francis Rd and works out of her home. Her name is Jaimi. She is very good and direct. She will tell you how to do a style and if a style just isn't right for you. She is a high energy girl and I trust her. ###-###-####
