My son will be three in the summer of 08' and I'm trying to be proactive by investigating into pre-schools for him now. Any advice you fellow Moms have would be awesome...I'm not sure when registration starts in Texas and what the best schools in the Keller area are.

Thanks!

My response is a little late, but I agree with Emily. Our kids have been at Primrose for the last 3 years combined, and we love it. They have definitely flourished there. We go to the one on David Blvd. If you are thinking for the fall, you may want to talk to them in April, if not sooner.

Good luck with your search.

My daughter attended the 4-year old pre-k program at Glenview Christian School. We absolutely loved it. Cannot say enough good things about the entire school! They have a 3-year pre-k program through 12th grade. The pre-k program was an academic program that also allowed for plenty of social learning as well. I am a public school teacher and now take my daughter to the the public school where I teach. If that were not the case, we would have continued her at Glenview.

we love Primrose. www.primroseschools.com
They are individually owned and are all slightly different. But we love ours here off Boat Club Road.
There are lots of great schools in Keller, I'm sure.

I wish I could help more.
Good luck!

Hello K.,
Are you looking for advice on public or private preschool? I'm not sure, but here is my advice on public school in the Keller isd.
In the Keller isd, there is only half day prekindergarden and it is for four year olds. In order to attend prekindegarden, the child must not be a primarily English speaker or the family's income must be less than state guidelines. The only way your three year old will start school in 08 is if he is special needs and falls into the ppcd classes. Also, Keller's kindergarden program is also half day unless you have a certain income that qualifies you for their full day program.

Hope this helps!

We use New Hope Christian School in Keller on Willis lane. They have an awesome program starting at 18 months with a room for each age group. My oldest started there when he was 2 1/2. They don't pressure them to be potty trained for the 3 year class, but most are. My potty trainig resistant child potty trained withthe schools help by Christmas. They have a "ball pit" area indoors to play in when it is hot, cold or wet outside. My youngest is 2 and he already knows colors shapes the alphabet,etc.. so great fun learning process as well.

If you are interested they do have a website. I don't have it with me right now, but I can get it.

The school is small, nurturing and flexible!!

Good Luck!
