Good Sunshield for Car Window?

We have a saturn sedan and my daughter is still rear facing in her car seat. The sun comes blaring in the back window and she freaks :) we have one of those tinted decal things on the side window but any suggestions for the rear? there must be something out there that will actually stick to the window and keep the sun out. help!!!

I found window cling sheets (WalMart) that you could put on the whole back window. It was in the car care section. It does not have adhesive so it is removable without any damage. You simply cut the sheet to size, clean and dry the window, spray with plain water and apply the cling sheet. The hardest part is working the bubbles out so it doesn't look funny from the outside. You sinply need a small squeegy and patients for that. I have even put it on the inside of out bedroom windows to help with the light. (husband works nights!). It is under $20 for a role and you could do the whole back window and probabley a side or two. A.

We have the one from Babies R Us in the back of our car and it works great. You have to get used to the blue tint, but it's worth it!

How old is your daughter? Mine loves to wear her "sunnies" (sunglasses) when riding in the car because the sun comes through the window and gets in her eyes. Maybe she would like that. I know it's not exactly what you were asking for, but thought it might be helpful. (Even if she's a little young for it now, it might be helpful a little later.) Good luck.

is it the rear window or side window? they make one's specifically for rear windows. i used to have one for my hyundai elantra. unfortunately i don't remember the brand. i will try to find out for you.

Hi, you can get any window shade at your local walmart or target and they stick on the window. I may have one here but not sure if it sticks. If you are interested let me know.

Babies R Us sells a sun shield / window tint that is paper thin and you can place it wherever / however you want on your window. You can even but more than one to cover the entire back! When she is doen facing rear, just unpeel and use on either side of the back windows. Cheap too! Good luck!

My daughter and son in law actually got the back windows on my daughter's car tinted so the sun coming in on the kids wouldn't be a problem. Worked out great and no hassles with the stick on films.

One Step Ahead makes a window screen package - two side windows and a rear window scree - that we LOVED! Here's the link:
