Good Pre-School for an ACTIVE Boy in the South Bay

Does anyone have a very active boy who goes to a great pre-school? The first class that my 3.5 year old son went to was almost all girls and in retrospect I can see that the teacher liked it that way and my son was just too much BOY for her.
Anyway, any good experiences with a pre-school and a active boy would be great to hear about.

What can I do next?

You might want to check out Town and Country Nursery School on the border of PVE and Hollywood Riviera. It might be a good fit for an active boy.

where at in south bay do you live?

Not sure where about you are looking but after researching several schools I have narrowed my search to North Torrance Academy on 182nd and Chrenshaw or Hickory Tree on Madrona and Carson. If you want a Montessori there are some good ones that way too. Check these two out to start. Hope this helps with your search. There are so many to choose from it takes time to visit and research them all to find the right one for your son and your budget. I started looking when my son was two He will be starting in July for his third birthday. Give yourself time many of the good ones have waiting list.

Good luck

South Bay Adult School has a wonderful co-op pre-school that is under the title of "Parenting the Preschooler". I think it's 3 mornings a week for your son's age. You need to volunteer once a week. They are known for learn through play techniques. All my neighbors participated and last year we tried it out and loved it. It's great when parents are involved.
