Does anyone know of a pediatrician with great bedside manner, shows true concern and does not mind answering questions? I have just given birth and I have lots and lots of questions. I would like to hear from moms out there. Thanks!

Hi B., congrats on the baby. I live in south jersey and we take my son to Advocare Haddon Pediatric Group on the White Horse Pike in Haddon Heights. There are about 8 or 9 docs in the practice as well as an awesome nurse prac. Jenna who we always try to see. They are all great are always happy to answer my "first time mommy questions" If you live close to the area, I would highly recommend them. The number is ###-###-#### Good luck with everything!! I'm not sure where you live, but I use Buckingham Pediatrics in Buckingham PA. They are a group of 5 doctors. The one I usually see is Dr. Komasz. He has a great bedside manner and really takes the time to answer questions and reassure you.

B.,

I am not sure where you are located, but Lower Bucks Pediatrics is fabulous! My youngest has had a rocky first year and a half and the doctors and nurses are always more than willing to spend the time needed to help answer questions and lead us to what resources we need.

Everytime we have had to admit my son and even when he has just been pretty sick, they call and check up on his status daily.

Dr. Coren is my sons' doctor, but I reccommend anyone there, especially Dr. Gardner, Dr. Amoia and Dr. Weinberg. http://www.lowerbuckspediatrics.com Good luck!

Don't know where you are in philadelphia but here are 2 pediatricians I would recommend:

1. Elgie Mclaughlin
Suite 204
821 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006
###-###-####

She is wonderful and very easy to get a hold of in case of emergency. We would use her but she's a bit too far from us.

2.Dr. Philip Goldstein at Pediatric medical Associations
1077 Rydal Rd
Jenkintown, PA 19046-1712
###-###-####
This is who we go to and he is our favorite dr. in the group. Most of the drs are really great too but sometimes you need to wait a while in the office. I have found the staff sometimes gives you a hard time if you want to speak with the dr or nurse, they would rather you come in.

I recommend Lower Bucks Pediatrics in Yardley. I've gone in with my list of questions when my daughter was a newborn, I've called after hours, or just if I had a question. They always took their time to answer everything without making me feel like I was wasting their time. I'm very pleased with that office and the doctors there. Good luck with your search!
