I've a stay at home mom for about a year. Do u think it will be hard for me to get back in the work game? How do I explain my time off from the workworld? what should say during a interview?

Well is this something you are doing by choice or by necessity? I think that dictates the approach you take. I think that it depends on the field that you are looking to get back into as to whether it will be hard to get back in to the game. I think you should be completely honest about your time off and how important that time was, but then also explain the reason you are wanting to get back to work! I do not think that one year off is going to hurt you as bad as you think!

I had the same problem trying to get back into the work world. No one wanted to hire me since I had taken over a year off. So I did some research and came across Internet CEO Moms. They make it to where I work from home and don't miss a moment with my daughter. If you want to know more about how I work from home you can email me at ____@____.com or visit my website at www.greenonyourside.com. Hope you find everything you are looking for!

the truth is a great place to start. but then add that you are up to date on the skills needed for the job (if you aren't, then get so before the interview or offer to on the job training). if you have done any kind of volunteer work or the like during the year, mention it definitely. you can brush up your skills for free at the public library using books/classes/videos.
