have you looked into your diet? google foods that cause gas and see if you're eating a lot of something that produces gas. my husband went to ER for chest pain and it turned out to be gas. he was a cop at the time and on duty so when word got out it spread like wildfire and all the cops showed up to see if he was ok and he was so embarrased to say it was gas ;p anyway, look into your diet and if it persists maybe get a 2nd opinion from a different doc if your current one doesn't think there's a problem.

Try eliminating some of these from your diet: tomatoes,(fresh are probably alright, but cooked on pizzas, and ouch-take time away from beer, artichokes in oil, chorizo and other sauages, olives and I will try to think of some more. I am not saying you even eat any of these, just some starters. Some of these are acidy and can cause you to get that reaction (happened to me!) You've been seeing the doctors so try to experiment with yourself. Even though cauliflower is a wonderful treat for your system if it is cooked in something and encased in oil that can contribute. You might trace these 'attacks' for a couple of weeks and see what you eat and it's possible there is a relationship Of course there will be all sorts of other things possible, too I am mentioning dietary here, some might suggest exercise or counselors.

Has your gallbladder been checked or checked for ulcers? My mama had issues with both and she had horrid gas

If nothing is resolved/found with these last test results you are waiting on then I would turn to an allergist/nutritionist so you can be tested for food allergies & intolerances. I would say the that the most common offenders for intolerances would be gluten & lactose. It can cause people to have a 'leaky gut'...google it, see if it fits, BUT def keep seeing physicians until they determine the cause of the gas.

I know someone who had similar problems, but it sounds like theirs were not as rough, but it turned out they were sensitive to gluten. It is a rough thing to cut out, but for them it really helped. I haven't read all of the other responses, but it might be a food sensitivity, might not be gluten but I would think about getting an allergy test.

Did they check your pancreas? If not, I would have them check that. Pains from your pancreas will feel like gas pains but no gas meds in the world will help. Definitely get that checked.

Its sounds similar to what I've been experiencing for the past year. After all kinds of tests (all you mentioned and more) it turns out I have a Hiatal hernia. The doc finally found it when I had a scope done a few months ago. The doctor explained the hernia has allowed stomach acid to go up my esophagus which has, over time, "burned" the tube. I am now taking medicine 3x a day, before each meal, and have elevated my bed to help reduce the stomach acid from making things worse. The doctor said the "burned" esophagus will heal over time which will make the pain go away. That's as long as I continue to take the meds and sleep on an incline. Just in case your wondering, the hernia is in an inconvenient place making surgery too invasive for something that can be controlled with meds. Hope this helps and that you find out what's wrong soon. I had panic attacks off and on before I knew what was wrong too. Pain in or near the chest is so scary! Good luck!

I've had that...sucks. Mostly, when I had it, I feel it in the upper right side of my chest. I'm glad you got the tests run. Tums doesn't help at all? Good news is that I haven't felt that for at least a year now...maybe yours will go away too.
