We are having a party in a couple of weeks with my girlfriends and spouses and have decided to play the white elephant game. I need some gag gift ideas for about $5-$10. And kids will be around so it can't be too out there!

I have two ideas, one I have done and the other I am going to do today. One is get Boudreaux's Butt Past. It's a funny name and people get a kick out of it. Not to mention the stuff works REALLY good for lots of things. The one I thought of for this year is a Yellow Pages. And that shouldn't really cost any money if you have one laying around that you don't use.
My sister one year put a big picture of herself on a T-Shirt. She got the T-Shirt for around $4.00 at Michaels. She bought the iron-on photo transfer paper (kinda of expensive, but can be used to make other things) and printed the picture out on her printer. It gave everyone a laugh and at the next year's christmas party the person who pick it wore it.
What about a Christmas tie or scarf? A half burned candle and a can of soup for a dinner on me gift?
Every year for our white elephant game someone always gets a funny christmas hat. An elf hat with big ears, or reindeer antlers, etc. Several people bring them as gifts and then whoever gets them in the end all takes a picture together. I have also gotten a headband with pink hair, princess wands, stuff like that. Its always really funny.
Someone brought this to our office white elephant exchange and we're still talking about it - it was hilarious. It was one of those big Passport coupon books, but it was from two years before, so all the coupons had expired! I've also seen people bring a jar of "cholesterol". It's a hair product they found at the dollar store and the jar literally said "Jar of Cholesterol".
I found a bottle of wine called "Bitch" the other day. The label is pink; I'm giving it to one of my husband's friends. We have a regift party after Christmas every year and do it White Elephant style. It's so fun because these are gifts we actually got and it keeps us laughing all night. Last year I gave away some of the ugliest dish towels I've ever seen. Another guy brought a book called "How Animals Have Sex," very informative. I like the bald wipes idea that someone else suggested too. Facial hair remover for women might be funny or granny panties.
Really cheap booze - Boone's Hill or Mad Dog 20/20...a Chia-pet...fruitcake...
Walgreens has an aisle of those cheesy gadgets that are always advertised on TV - you might find something there.
You might check out some thrift stores/garage sales. One gag gift we had at an office party was an old men's bowling shirt (probably from the 60's). Also, someone brought a can of Spam.
Here is what I just bought for ours....I was so excited! If you go to Walgreen's you can get Men's Bald Head wipes OR cream for $4.99 AND if you grab the little Walgreen's rebate book, you'll get a full rebate! We also bought (we had to have two) in the 'infomercial' aisle, the purse holder thing for when you go to a restaurant - it's pretty cool and was $9.99.
I saw some "Monkey Butt" powder at Gander Mountain!
