Find a Good Psychiatrist for a Teenager

My husband is a counselor at a nearby school distruct. He requently gets requests rom parents in similar situations to you or reerrals in your area. That may be a good place to start.

Ask your pediatrician who they recommend. They usually have doctors they refer to in special fields.

I live in Woburn and know of one doctor for sure you DON'T want to go to...Dr. Michael Marcus and his associate. They are in Winchester on Main street.

You may want to try the # on your in. card for Mental Health Services. They can give you a list of approved providers in your area and you call to see if they are accepting new patients. It can be a long process, but something that needs to be done. There is also a company in Burlington called Practice Sentry you could try them as well and see if there is someone there accepting new patients. Phone ###-###-####
