Favorite Backpack Diaper Bag?
I would like to know any favorite backpack style diaper bags that don't cost a ton of money. I can't find the kind I have (it's totally worn out!) and really like the backpack - any suggestions?
Thanks!

I picked up a black leather (looking) backpack to use as a diaper bag at a thrift store. Best purchase ever. Why? Because my husband was never embarrassed to carry it! This made my husband a much more willing helper.

I really like the Columbia backpack from Babies R Us. I especially liked it when I went on two airplane trips with my son because it fit everything I needed for him on the plane and it doubled as a purse for me, which freed my hands for the stroller. And it's only $45.

I have a Columbia one, it's orange and grey, got it at Babies R Us and we've liked it so far, my hubby will even carry it. It has 2 side pockets and one is insulated, and you can get to the main pocket from the side as well.

I love my Petunia Pickle Bottom backpack...the even have an outlet on their website and I've found them at TJ Maxx before. I get compliments on it all the time! Oh...and I can't believe anyone's hubbies are embarrassed by a diaper bag...my husband could care less...I mean really how ridiculous is it for a man to care about what kind of diaper bag he's got...it's obviously for the baby!

I used a "messenger" bag as a diaper/purse. I bought mine at Target, however, they sell them at Walmart, Office Depot, Staples, etc. The purpose of this bag is for carrying a laptop, files, notepads, etc. It has two basic compartments with LOTS of handy little pockets, nooks and crannies. You can choose from different materials. I chose a black cloth. As much as you set that thing down on dirty floors and dirty shopping carts, its nice to be able to toss it in the wash!! (I put mine in the dryer, too)
Good Luck in your search!!
Margaret :)
P.S. I paid about 25 bucks for mine. Its still going strong and I purchased it about a year and a half ago, and I've washed it 4 or 5 times.
