As a former photography hobbiest, it trips me up when I see ISO.
ISO usually means "instead of".
depends upon the context of the sentence being used...
ISO - In Search Of
ISO - Instead of
ISO - International Organization of Standardization (yes, I know not in order, but that's the way it is)
Someone may be saying:
I'm ISO a new computer
Let's go to the movie ISO dinner
If they are talking about computers - it's usually referring to standardized things.
