Hello Moms, I am very interested in donating my frozen breastmilk. My three and a half month old only nurses and refuses to drink from a bottle. I have so much frozen milk, and I would hate to throw them away. but my freezer is full. I still pump, when I am at work - I work part-time. Also, what age did you started with the sippy cup -- maybe she would like to drink out of it more than a bottle... Any and all input is much appreciated!
Mix the extra milk with her baby cereal when she starts eating it. My kids started sippy cups after 6mo old - somewhat proficient with them at 9-10mo old.
Have you tried *every* bottle out there?? My son literally went through every style, every brand a couple of times before he settled on one (and those weren't cheap, might I add)... keep trying different things, eventually she will be hungry enough to take anything ;) Make sure you're still snuggling skin to skin when bottle feeding, that may help too!
talk to your local hospital childrens ward and see if they could use it or anything and i started sippy cups when i started solids
I agree with another mom - save a least some of that milk to mix with cereal when she starts solids.
I gave my kids a sippy to "play with" around 6 mo old. They didn't figure out how to use it until 11-12 months old.

There are a few hoops you have to jump through to donate milk. You also have to make sure that you weren't taking any meds at the time it was expressed. Google it for a location in your area and see what their guidelines are.
If you decide to keep it, put it in the cereal like someone else suggested and then maybe later in a sippy cup. I've heard that several babies take to sippies with straws faster than the traditional cups. Usually most babies don't start sippy cups until around 5 months. My 9 month old picked it up faster than her sister because she saw her sister do it. She was around 6 months. She doesn't really drink much from it unless we hold it for her.
Continue to try bottles. You want to make sure baby isn't completely dependent on you for food. I know, easier said than done. My 9 month old hasn't had a bottle in a few months.

Hold onto it. She is too young to be getting rid of it. You might dry up next week and then what?? She will eventually drink from a cup if not a bottle. Mine didn't until 5 months. If you donate, you must go go through testing of blood, health and milk. It's a great thought but wait awhile to make that final decision.
