So What Happened?

Spicy cat......maybe. :p

Well good news, I put a pot over the meat so he didn't manage to get at it anymore. The next step would have been said pot upside his hard head.

I am a cat lover. Growing up, my best friend HATED cats with a passion. We're now 48, and she still hates cats. She thinks they're sneaky. Many years ago, she gave me a book entitled "101 Uses for a Dead Cat." Maybe you can look that up.

I heard cat is stringy so you have to have a low slow cooking method with lots of liquid...................................

I will now taunt you with my cat. She never gets on counters and has disdain for all our people food. She only likes lunch meat ham and crab legs (with drawn butter of course). Anything else she will actually run away from. The downside is she has a nervous tummy and is always finding new and unique places to puke around the house :(

Feed the kitty just before the family eats. Feed him in a different room and, um, accidentally close the door. (If the food he gets is good enough, he won't mind.) If he's a fast eater, just happen to sprinkle a little catnip on the floor to keep him interested.

When my marmalade cat, now fifteen, was a spunky kitten, she was overwhelmed by the aroma of our dinner one day, took a flying leap, and landed in the mashed potatoes.

Crating a cat may cause more yowling than is worthwhile, but it might be worth a try if you already have the crate.

Try giving them some wet cat food, or just tuna, while your eating your meal. If that doesn't work, then just put them in a bedroom while your eating.
I know how you feel though, I had a cat just like that.

i have this problem with our little scavenger. poor thing does not know any better when we rescued her from the streets. so needless to say, she gets put away. It makes it kinda annoying to have to clean the entire kitchen of scraps prior to letting her out otherwise we will be getting up and down all night long to rescue her from the counters. I guess that will always keep my kitchen clean........got to love them

Hot sauce,, really hot hot hot sauce,, on a plate with a little of your food. On the table. Then let the cat sneak some. Might teach him a good lesson and cure the problem!

Try feeding your cat something the same time you eat to distract. Or crate like you would a dog. They both work
